vivo X7 and its Funtouch OS star in short video

Peter, 27 June, 2016

The vivo X7 just loves the spotlight so much it can't stay under the covers event though there are just a few days left until the June 30 unveiling.

The latest leak shows off the interface in a quick 15 seconds. The X7 runs FuntouchOS 2.5.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The about screen shows the chipset as MSM8976 - that is the Snapdragon 652 - and two IMEI numbers as you would expect from a dual-SIM phone.

Additional specs for the vivo X7 (the ones revealed by the numerous leaks) include a 5.2" 1080p screen, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, a 13MP camera on the back and a 16MP camera on the front (that's right, selfie > main).

The X7 will be unveiled this Thursday, June 30, and should bring a vivo X7 Plus version with it. There haven't been many leaks about the Plus, but comparing the vivo X6S and X6S Plus suggests a bigger screen (5.7" perhaps) and a better main camera. Apparently it will have a super-fast fingerprint reader too.

Most typical China's smartphone brand - copying Samsung's to get down Samsung. Sucks!

Typical Chinese company behavior, offer powerful specs in return for very weak software and update support. You're not fooling anybody!
