vivo's upcoming X7 smartphone has been certified by Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA. While the listings (yes, plural, as there are two devices listed: X7 and X7L) do not contain images of the device (which is unusual), they - as always - do reveal some of the key specs of the phone.

According to TENAA, the handset is powered by an octa-core 1.8GHz processor (SD652) and sports a 5.2-inch full HD display. RAM is 4GB, while internal memory is 64GB. In terms of camera, the X7 features a 13MP rear unit and a 16MP front shooter.

Measuring 147.3 × 71.85 × 7.24mm and weighing in at 151g, the phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, and packs in a 2930mAh battery. Color options include champagne gold, pink gold, gold, and rose gold.

In case you don't already know, the vivo X7 as well as a Plus variant of the device are set be unveiled on June 30.

yeah, I agree, don't understand why they stick to Android 5.1 while 6.0 already existed quite some time, That's prevent me to buy Android phone because my mind keeps telling me Android evolving fast and any other OS. After that come out Android N.
