vivo X Flip appears in official photos
The vivo X Flip is expected to arrive this month at an event that should also give us the vivo X Fold2 and the vivo Pad 2. The company’s first clamshell foldable appeared in some leaked photos and renders, but today we have official images, giving us our best look at it yet.
Images of Chinese actress Wang Ziwen posing with the X Flip appeared on Weibo, revealing the big display, dual camera island, and the embossed diamond-pattern purple version. Reports are this is one of three colors, the other two being Black and Gold.
The images reveal the cover screen is practically from end to end with ever so slightly curved corners. The circular camera island hosts two shooters and the Zeiss logo, while the LED flash is on the right side. The current trend in smartphones is to have flat sides, but the X Flip is keeping it traditional with a slightly curved body from all four sides.
We cannot determine how big the phone actually is by the actress’ hands. Still, we expect a 6.8” foldable screen on the inside, which is the same diagonal as the Find N2 Flip and just ever so slightly bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip4 and the Moto Razr 2022 but a bit smaller than the Huawei P50 Pocket.
The launch is clearly right around the corner, and we expect vivo to confirm the launch date soon, and then teasers to follow with more details on the upcoming devices.

I like that end to end cover display. Hopefully, Samsung and Motorola copies that on their next foldable flip phones.

Everything they show as use case scenario is absolutely no sense. Everything she does can be done with a normal phone without a risk of braking it from the 1st fall. I have up on foldables as they are designed to be used on a coach not in real life

Last time I checked, advertising models don't have to use the product they are modeling for. They have their own personal preferences.
