vivo X Fold5 release timeframe revealed, to support 80W charging
Vivo officially confirmed the vivo X Fold5's Chinese launch date for June 25, but the global version's debut remains unknown. According to 91mobile sources, the company plans to release the device in the second week of July.
This appears to be in line with last year's X Fold3 series release, but there's no mention of the X Fold5 Pro version just yet.
Additionally, Digital Chat Station, a renowned tipster from China, posted on Weibo some new specs. According to the post, the X Fold5 will feature a large 6,000 mAh battery and support 80W fast wired and 40W wireless charging. If true, the X Fold5 will have the biggest battery and the fastest charging in the foldable segment.
The back will house three 50MP cameras, one offering 3x optical zoom while waterproofing will be IPX8/IPX9/IPX9+ with IP5X dustproofing.
