justasmile, 02 Apr 2024Why need such a big screen though? 6.7” is just 0.3” smaller.I have 6.78, 6.8 inch phones as well, and it's very noticable how much smaller they are, it's the width mainly, that bothers me the most on my phones, but not on the X Note, 71-77mm is just not wide enough to me. Small phones just aren't comfortable for me.

For me it was a 7,84 GB update, so pretty huge, apart from the Blue Copilot it's mostly AI stuff and optimization. There is AI wallpaper generation in the Settings App where the wallpapers are, and AI editing options in the Gallery app, like cutting out the background and people from pictures and things like that, pretty useful things. There are also some apps that are now supported for notifications on the always on display, like Gmail, altough not much else.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2024I think I meant disabling so called "emergency alerts&... moreThat almost certainly has to be a regional thing then, because I found the Wireless emergency alerts app that you've mentioned and I even have it's notifications turned on, yet still haven't seen anything from it. I'm located in Europe, so that might be the reason.
Maybe clearing it's data, cache and turning off it's notifications, then force stopping it could help, but aside from that I don't really know unfortunatelly.

It comes up like a damn siren. I no longer see it under Settings/Notifications or even within messages app settings. I even searched and found " Wireless emergency alerts " app preinstalled with Vivo OS and disable its notifications, but still getting super annoying & completely irrelevant messages. Still trying to find out how to disable those...

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2024I did try it. It fixed a lot of my notification issues but ... moreI received another update today, so you should also have gotten that, it's around 500MB and it's nothing, but optimization. Try downloading that and maybe it helps.
In the Settings app if you type in "Carrier" and tap on it, you should have an option saying "VoLTE HD call", do you have that turned on? Where did you buy your phone from?
