They should make more phablets and big SQUARE camera bump to fit bigger cameras!!!!

Vivo X200 Ultra as a phablet????
          Or the Note 2!!!!

For example, Xiaomi 15 Pro has a square camera bump.
          Looks neat.

The update should work fine, haven't encountered any bugs.

I tried the new version trial something like that at the top right on the system update page-the latest origin os and android 15 showed up (am in the U.S)

For some reason the new Origin OS5 update just didn't want to come up on my phone, even though the vivo app itself said that the update should've arrived in January.

Anyways, so I've downloaded the official trial version to the phone, and it's awesome. It is an over 8GB update, with a good amount of insanely great changes.

When HD calls are turned on the HD logo is finally not displayed in the status bar, it's only display when the notification center is pulled down.

Speaking of notifications, the Always-On Display can finally display ANY notification from ANY app, with colored icons, I know this should've already been a basic feature as it is when it comes to most other Android skins, including vivo's own FunTouchOS, but hey it's here know.

The always on display is now completely customisable with a beautiful DoF effect.

Android Auto has finally been added.

The System is generally speaking smoother, and it now supports lightning app opening, or at least that's what I call it, but it's basically something that they've demonstrated with the X200 series.

It would be very noticeable, this phone is way taller, and even when I put this against my Magic4 Pro this is still bigger by enough to feel better, and the width of this phone is actually the best part of the display size, and no other modern flagship is this wide.

I'm pretty sure you can check demo units in a brick and mortar phone shop near you.

If we consider phones from 7-8 years ago, 0.3 inches in display size in the 16:9 ratio was substantial. For example, the difference between the Galaxy J3/5 and J7, Nokia 5 and 6, and the Oppo A57 and A73.

If you have big hands, any current phone feels compact, regardless of the size. I'm pretty sure you may have a larger display elsewhere (laptop, monitor, or even a TV) for your entertainment needs.

I want a 7.25" 1440×2880 120hz panel at least. This is closest we can get without a notch or terrible cameras. The curved screen, lack of audio jack and such is a bummer but at least it's not a tiny narrow annoying little phone. Plus this thing has the best fingerprint sensor. If I can find proper custom ROM (Pixel Experience/Lineage OS preferably with GApps pico package), I can use this thing until it dies naturally. I'm actually considering taking a hit on performance and importing the Galaxy Tab Active 5 or maybe 5 Pro when it comes out and use that as my only daily device.

Mine still working perfectly fine in January 2025. 👍

Got the November Security Patch finally, 687MB update, so not too large, but not a small one either.

DarlingYext, 14 Dec 2024Well I mean, I don't know about that. Oh and one more ... moreHaha, I know how OLED works but thanks. My OP7 Pro died a little over a month back and I don't ever exceed even 40-50% of the brightness on phones. Still managed to get burn in with heavy PUBG gaming. Would you mind doing a stress test of sorts? Just don't do it at Max brightness. Maybe let me know how games pan our on it. Even with how goofy it has gotten PUBG and PUBG New State still remains my go to game on phones and since the note has nearly perfect display (short of it being a flat one) I would use it for movies and shows.

Also, can you confirm whether the USB port is 3.1 or better? Thanks in advance if you accept ✌️

[deleted post]Well I mean, I don't know about that. Oh and one more thing to note about the Note, mine is about 1,5 years old and it has a battery health of 97% (yes the software keeps track of that, I can check it in settings, first time I've ever seen that on android), which I think is really good, especially considering that I always have my phone set at max brightness and always on 120hz, never use power saving mode and such. I love how bright and colorful the display is and I mean that's what I payed for, so I use it to the fullest, but you should absolutely use auto brightness and maybe max it out only sometimes, as the display can have burn-in if you have it on max brightness all the time.

"Also why does it say optical fingerprint instead of ultrasonic?"

Not sure about why it says that because it does absolutely have a gigantic ultrasonic fingerprint
scanner, which is the Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max, and even this GSMArena article about the phone talks about said feature. I absolutely love that feature, and when I sometimes switch to my other phones, that's the first thing I miss from this one, it's just so fast and accurate and highly customisable, just like the rest of the phone because of Origin OS, I have my own fingerprint icon set as a chinese charachter which means "Love", but it could be so many other things, and then the second thing I miss from this phone when I switch, is just the display size and resolution and the third is the alert slider, which I use every single day.
