I dont think people need large number of ram... They not using phone to write a software or playing two three games simultaneously... Lack of OIS feature and higher aperture camera compare to powerful vivo xshot... Pray for Vivo success

It all comes down to cost. If it's cheap enough, it will succeed, but so far looks like the price will only be $50-$100 lower than the competition. To me you might as well get a proven brand, where you can get take it to be fixed, exchanged, etc, all around you.

Okay we all know that Vivo it's not a well established brand (but heqq every brand had its own beginning, right!? ) and okay as well that it looks like an S7/edge, but having said that. It is to be appreciated, that from all the big names, etc. Vivo is the first brand that have the ability/technology, to be second only to the biggest brand in smartphone technology, Samsung, to use a dual curved display/ edges, so I think that it is remarkable, right! ? And not only that, as we know, vivo is the pioneer to have the courage to produce the first smartphone with the whopping 6GB of RAM (& so that it will be an encouragement for the others to raise more the bar, in the near future ) so I think vivo already deserve some compliments, right! ?. And even more than that, looking at the specs on paper, the vivo Xplay5 elite, it almost include everything (almost ), okay it doesn't have an SD card slot, but heyyy, it comes with a 128GB of internal storage as a standard (right out of the box) so it is even more remarkable, right! ? & finally, I/we can presume? That as a price tag, compered to the big names flagships, S7, G5, HTC 10, etc. It will be valuable cheaper? Well, so generally speaking, vivo deserve compliments and hopefully it/they will keep it up in the present and future . and hopefully they will sell a huge quantity of the Xplay 5, because once the product is promising, that is what it should happen! (but it depends on the consumers, if they/we understand it or not???)

wow! vivo xplay 5 elite. what a specs, someone seems to be having one already. 6 gb of central processing unit is crazy men! it will sure allow the phone to work freely and will make it make faster movements. the specs are very high. as for the copy design it is part of the mobile phone business. which phone brand first moved to android? give me answer, for sure other brands had to copy what research a brand has come out with. again which brand first moved to marshmallow? a brand first moved and others are following. 5g network will soon come and the rest will follow. but samsung and huawei are leading that research. so pls such is the game. keep it cool friends.

This phone is just lame, regardless of the unnecessary 6g ram, it's a direct copy of the S6 S7 range from Samsung. I know phones this days tend to copy each other but this is just doing it unashamedly so. It really shows lack of creativity. It's just pathetic if you ask me. What in the world was going through their mind during the design of the phone?
