I've been using this phone for a week, and I didnt regret spending some money for this phone
1. Great rear camera experience with its 13mp camera, 1.8ap, with features and the pro mode help me alot in taking better picture. The OIS works well. The front camera is far to be underrated. its 8mp camera and flash give wider angle to take picture with more friends.
2. Performance. I dont know how bad you 'maximize' ur phone, but theres almost no lag when using this phone. It can easily heat up, and quiet annoying somehow (when I play injustice, skyforce,beat mp3, etc) but Im still enjoying using that as my daily device.
3.Battery. I think it last for a day and you need to charge it at night.
4. many gestures like airview like in Galaxy S or Note series CMIIW.
downs:
1. It's still run on Jellybean 4.3, I use the 2GB RAM version. Come on, Vivo. I really hope that w can get at least the kitkat version.
2. Only available in white version. that make the phoe easily get dirty.

Compared to price and its functionality, this phone is worth buying.

        Writing on my vivo xshot.here comes my review of it.
        Pros...good display.handling is very good.hold it use it few days and you won't wish to leave it.very fast and no lag whatsoever.sound quality from rear speaker very good but I don't like the speaker placement on the back.sound with the supplied headset is very good hi fi...battery life is surprisingly good.
        Cons...camera quality with the rear 13mp camera is average...no bragging that it's a camera phone...features are good but picture quality average...front camera is good for selphie.
        Overall an excellent phone.they needs to upgrade it to lolly pop thats all.

          Reason not to choose Zenfone 2.....

          1. Currency fluctuation probably cause expensive due to delay launch in Malaysia.
          2. A lot issue that can find in GSM Arena comment.

          Reason to choose vivo xshot.....

          1. Camera do great job where highly clear image capture in each detail not matter near distance or far distance.
          2. Faster focus rate in camera focusing.
          3. Least issue found in website or no issue.
          4. Battery endurance good, faster changing rate.
          5. Music quality can compete with HTC.

          Suggestion:

          If really plan to purchase vivo xshot, please purchase Malaysia version if u are Malaysian because the phone capable to sent maintenance or repairing in Malaysia. But China version vivo only applicable to receive maintenance or repairing in China.

          The differences of China and Malaysia Version Xshot:

          Camera Voice snapped function is only exist in China version while Malaysia version was replace with Palm snapped which show our palm in front camera to let camera sensor recognize and then snapping.

              Hi All, Vivo X shot is a good mobile on papers, Hence i bought the phone to experience it in real Life. I found that there are few cons along with the pros for this mobile.
              Pros: Good battery Life, Super fast, Excellent Display quality and excellent camera. Also expandable memory up to 128 gb. supports OTG.
              Cons: No wifi direct, Although the phone shows wifi direct in the settings but we cannot transfer files thru wifi direct, downlaod speed thru wifi and mobile data is pretty slow as compared to any samsung mobile. I tried to download same file at the same time on two different mobiles with the same network on mobile and wifi connection, but to my surprise all the files got downloaded in less then half the time on the samsung handset compared to vivo. also it loses wifi connection intermittently. Its quiet annoying. I dont seem to find any solution on this, i tried to download couple of wifi boosters but it didnt help. Hence surfing net, viewing facebook and accessing mails becomes quiet tedious and frustrating at times. Other then this there dont seem to be any negative pointers for ths mobile. Hope Vivo sort this out soon on their next upgrade.

                          im the new user of vivo xshot. but i dont know to used the camera setting 6P, F1.8, 1300W, SONY STACKED(actlly i dont even know how to used that, HAHA).. my picture captured not same like i watched in utube and features.. anyone can explain to me..

                              Very good phone.
                              Root & GApps in chinese version realy work with FunTouch 2.0 6.10.3 - see vivo forums.

                                I just bought this xshot yesterday. After i survey iphone 6 n note 4. I made a decision for choosing this phone. Its really good n cheaper compare to note 4 n ip6. Besides, there are many advantages of this phone.

                                    I buy X-Shot, good phone for camera and music..but I regret because this phone didn't have WiFi Display ( Screen Share or Miracast ) function . But other Vivo models have this function but X-Shot not have...Vivo must come with firmware update to let this phone have this function.. Is very weird this kind of high-end phone didn't equip with WiFi Display..From Syed Malaysia...

                                      In confusing now. I want this phone but the zenfone 2 comibg soon. i already waiting for almost 2 months and now getting annoying they didnt release it yet. Could you give me a advise between these beast? While i heard vivo xshot didnt use girrila glass and asus has a battery life issue

                                        Just thought I'd update after using this for one month.

                                        Simply put, it's a genuinely great phone. I really cannot find fault with it for my needs. It is my daily driver and I've kept it ahead of a Note 4, Xiaomi Mi Note, and iPhone 6. It's really that good.

                                        Perfect size at 5.2 inches so not too big or small. Ergonomically excellent - do not underestimate how thin and solid it feels without being uncomfortable or slippery. I can reach all buttons with one-hand which is great.

                                        Battery continues to surprise me. I always get 5 to 5.5 hours screen on time from mixed usage (wifi and 3G/4G) over about 40 hours on a full charge. For example, if I pick it up on a Monday morning at 7am, it'll last until 11pm on Tuesday night. The ROM is very customisable and efficient on power.

                                        I have the 2GB Elite model but never use all the RAM because it's so light - using about 700mb after startup so always 65% free (unlike Note 4 which used 1.7gb to on startup!). It's fast, too. Never feels slow despite having the 801AA chip. I guess it's from the lightweight ROM.

                                        Call quality is awesome. It has a 'crystal clear' option in the settings which really works. Probably the best call quality on a phone I can recall. And then there's audio quality... The rear speaker is good but put some earphones in and it's another world compared to other phones... Amazing sounds... I hear things in my music collection that I'd never heard before.

                                        Finally the cameras. Another huge plus point. I won't tolerate average or good cameras as I need to capture pics of my fast-moving child! Simply stunning in speed and quality, and destroys others when it comes to low light and noise. Haven't used the front 8mp selfie much but it's obviously better than other phones - heck it even has a front flash.

                                        So, I'm keeping the XShot for a while. It really doesn't have a weakness whereas all others do. A crazy good phone for a crazy good price. Probably the best phone most people will never use.

                                        Forget the S6 or M9 - I'm waiting on the next XShot.
