Zygocaste, 15 Apr 2024i finally got the device. ended up cancelling my order and ... morequick thoughts after a few days (i won't write a long review):

pros:
chic and thoughtful design (glass back with a mesmerising speckly finish on the blue colorway. phone is only 7.6mm thick and weighs only 183g despite having a 5000mah battery. doesn't bend or creak or anything)
great ergonomics (can use the phone one-handed without much issue)
good-quality screen (6.78" curved 1080p 120hz oled. pretty much issue-free)
reliable battery (can easily get 2 days of moderate usage on a single charge. 0-100% in an hour)
good software (although there are some cutbacks in terms of animations due to the chipset, originos is still as good as those who've used it say it is)
main camera has ois, the camera app is chock-full of features

cons:
some framedrops here and there (not necessarily enough to ruin your day)
main cam can give inconsistent results (tends to overexpose, sharpness is not the best)
selfie camera is kind of garbage unless you have the best lighting
slow updates (this phone was on the december 2023 security patch when i got it, supposed to get originos4 in june)
limited to 1080p recording
no nfc
better chipset could've been used considering the 1400rmb starting price (at least snapdragon 778g)

overall i like the phone, and i think its worth it for someone who wants a design-centric phone with a slim profile and doesn't care that much about performance, but its not for me (i imagine it wouldn't be for the majority of gsmarena commentors either). i give it a 6.75/10
