vivo Y21T debuts in India with higher refresh rate screen
The vivo Y21T announced last week in Indonesia has debuted in India. The smartphone comes in a single 4GB/128GB configuration priced at INR16,490 ($220/€195). It's offered in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colors and is already available for purchase in the country through mainline and online channels.
However, the vivo Y21T launched in India is slightly different from the one unveiled last week. The Indian Y21T packs a 6.58" FullHD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, while its Indonesian counterpart comes with a 6.51" HD+ LCD having a 60Hz refresh rate and more RAM (6GB).
The rest of the specs remain the same, though, meaning you get a Snapdragon 680 SoC, Android 11-based Funtouch OS 12, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging.
The Y21T has four cameras on board - an 8MP selfie shooter inside the notch, with the camera system on the rear consisting of 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.
The vivo Y21T features a side-mounted fingerprint reader, USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a triple card slot (2 SIM + 1 microSD).
