vivo Y300 5G specs and detailed images emerge ahead of launch
We’re just three days away from the launch of the vivo Y300 5G in China and WHYLAB has now shared preliminary specs and images of the device ahead of its unveiling.
Y300 5G gets a 6.77-inch OLED screen with a 1,080 x 2,392px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at 1,300 nits of brightness and features vivo’s Diamond Shield glass protection. The panel also sports a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP front-facing camera and an optical fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen.
The back houses a 50MP main cam (Samsung S5KJNS) and a 2MP depth helper. The more impressive feature is the massive speaker positioned in the middle of the camera island, which was co-developed with AAC Technologies. The phone will also have top and bottom speakers, and as per the new specs, the Y300 5G features a three-way speaker matrix with a peak power of 4.5W.
The Y300 5G will be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256/512GB storage. The phone will launch with a 6,500 mAh battery and 44W wired charging and boot OriginOS 5.

Remember how the Nokia 5030 and X1-01 had a large area for a rear speaker? The same thing can also be seen here.

So apart from the bigger battery, speakers and OLED panel, I guess the performance won't be much different compared to the Y36 5G which I'm using right now.
