vivo Y300i launch date now official
Yesterday the vivo Y300i appeared on China Telecom's website, complete with full specs, images, and pricing, but no actual launch date to speak of.
vivo itself has now provided that last bit of the puzzle, officially announcing the phone's unveiling for March 14. The brand promises the device will be "super drop resistant", and will come with long battery life and an overall "good experience" for the price.

The Y300i has a 6.68-inch HD+ LCD touchscreen, and it's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, paired with three RAM/storage combos: 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB.
There's a 50 MP main camera at the rear, and a 5 MP selfie snapper at the front too. That promised good battery life will be provided by a 6,500 mAh cell, which supports 44W wired charging. The Y300i will start at CNY 1,499, which right now converts to approximately $205.
