1080p display wont lag on this. its more than enough.
worrying about battery efficiency?? no need to worry. just dont use a phone like playstation. daily use can last you a day. 720p just looks like a cheap entry level phone. it aint sharp enough. i guess vivo Y series are back design oriented. not caring about the display res. they just exist. its more like it was meant for non tech savvy users that if it works just use them.
