After more than a year of using this phone, i can definitely say it holds up pretty alright; Especially the cameras.

this phone i only used for 3 month it get worse and worse. No need to say using for gaming it even not supporting play simple game like plant VS zombie 1 smoothly. Playing COD on lowest performance it get horribly lag and sound breaking apart. My old android 9 phone got better sound system than this phone. Such a waste for good body design.

I'm currently looking to buy this Y36 to be used as a 5G/LTE modem for my PC as it is much cheaper at around RM350 in Shopee compared to the varied 5G CPE routers costing around RM460-1000. Only deciding if I should get the even cheaper Y28s but don't know if these 2 phones use the same receptors or not. Does anyone know?

At first I notice the camera design is not same with the actual Y36 that I saw some people doing their review on youtube. and then I search to goole why the camera is different and also the performance also a little bit lagging when scrollling or open apps. Then I notice there was an Y36 ( India ) version at GMS arena which is.the design is same with the one that i bought. Can someone make it clear ?? why is there a different version

The camera on this phone is mediocre. It doesn't even support 4k. The phone also doesn't have SD card slot. You'll fill up the internal storage rather quickly.

Just graduated to this model from Galaxy A51. Not my first choice but somebody gave me the phone for free, new and all so why not?

Performance wise, it's on par with the much older A51. It is not a strong performer. Battery life is better but then again it has a 5000mAh battery compared to the 4000mAh in the A51. It has very few bloatware which is nice. The display isn't AMOLED so that's a downer. The display isn't bright to begin with. The colour is okay, quite saturated despite only an IPS display. Camera is pretty basic, it has only two rear cameras, only one of them is useful. Picture quality is acceptable. Then again I'm more of a point and shoot person rather than a photographer. The biggest minus point is the lack of micro SD card support. It does have a headphone jack though. The output through the jack isn't loud though. Charging speed is quite fast.

It does have one strong point. The modem is powerful. It is very sensitive and pull signal strongly. Using the older A51, I could get only 2-3 bars of signal at my home and workplace. The workplace would be even worse. I got full signal with this phone nearly everywhere I go.

The Y36 is a low midrange phone. It's good as a work phone or to someone more interested in streaming since it has a good modem. But tbh, I'll look elsewhere. I can't really recommend this phone to anyone due to its many weaknesses.

Apparently some people are saying this has a 60hz display, but here and everywhere else states 90hz. Can anybody confirm?
