vivo Y52s quietly announced in China

Last week brought us our first look of the vivo Y52s and now the device has been unveiled in China. Powered by the Dimensity 720 with 6/8GB RAM, the Y52s is the latest 5G midranger from vivo. It also brings a dual-cam setup around the back, a 5,000 mAh battery and 18W charging.

There’s a 6.58-inch LCD upfront with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The 8MP selfie cam is housed inside the waterdrop notch up top. Around the back we find a 48MP primary shooter backed by a 2MP depth helper.

You also get a fingerprint scanner located on the right-hand-side while the headphone jack sits on the bottom next to the USB-C port. The phone boots Android 10 with FuntouchOS 10.5 on top

The vivo Y52s comes in gray, white and gradient colors. Retail for the 6/128GB trim is set at CNY 1,598 ($245) while the 8/128GB model goes for CNY 1,798 ($275).
