There is something strange with this phone,when connected to volte network it's not showing icon indicating volte network in status bar ,I think it's minor software bug.

I bought this unit in Malaysia last year 2023 as a gift to use in E.U & UK. So far everything worked without any issue, NFC, 5G etc. The phone has been upgraded to Android 13.

My Y55 5G supports NFC (prepaid, carrier locked Telstra variant) and came with Android 12/Funtouch OS 12 out of the box and received the Android 13/Funtouch OS 13 update.

In my country we can get this phone just pay about 14 us dollar per month for 24 months come with unlimited 5g unlimited call and 20 gb hotspot per month. This phone is actually free here.

this phone does not support NFC worldwide, NFC is supported only in Russia (according to some blogs), we can say only in some regions
