Brilliant for the money, NFC for the shops, good Bluetooth, decent fingerprint scanner, good options on the camera for some tricky shots, amazing battery life.

I got Android 14 update a couple of days ago. It is a trial version and stable release will be available in a couple if months.

There is something strange with this phone,when connected to volte network it's not showing icon indicating volte network in status bar ,I think it's minor software bug.

I bought this unit in Malaysia last year 2023 as a gift to use in E.U & UK. So far everything worked without any issue, NFC, 5G etc. The phone has been upgraded to Android 13.

My Y55 5G supports NFC (prepaid, carrier locked Telstra variant) and came with Android 12/Funtouch OS 12 out of the box and received the Android 13/Funtouch OS 13 update.
