vivo Y74s 5G unveiled: another Dimensity 810 phone with 50MP main camera
This is a 5G phone thanks to the Dimensity 810 – the 6 nm chipset sports two Cortex-A76 cores, six A55 and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. In this phone the chip is paired with 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 256 GB of built-in storage (UFS 2.2). There is also a microSD slot that supports cards up to 1 TB.
The 6.58” LCD has a 60 Hz refresh rate, but a 180 Hz touch sampling rate. The rest is pretty standard – 1080p+ resolution (20:9), 1,500:1 contrast ratio, no HDR. The phone runs OriginOS 1.0 (based on Android 11).
On its back is a 50 MP main camera, which would have been alone if not for the 2 MP macro cam. The selfie camera on the front is a basic 8 MP shooter. Both front and back cameras are limited to 1080p video recording.
The phone is powered by a 4,100 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging, pretty standard vivo fare. Some additional details include two SIM card slots, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, aptX (HD) and LDAC support (over Bluetooth 5.1) and a fingerprint reader mounted on the side.
The vivo Y74s is available in China now at a price of CNY 2,300 ($360/€320/₹26,800) with two colorways to choose from: Galaxy Blue and Starry Night Black.

V is definitely better because it's slicker and has a better finish. Y is the cheaper one, still good looking, in my opinion. To get a smaller chin, like with Reno6, you have to pay more, even the beautiful A94 has chin, it's not mandatory ...
