vivo Y95 lands in India

Yordan, 26 November 2018

Earlier this month we saw the Snapdragon 439 make its way to a smartphone called vivo Y93. Later, the manufacturer slapped a fingerprint scanner on the back, called the new device vivo Y95 and launched it in the Philippines. Today, the affordable midranger made its way to the store shelves in India with an attractive price tag of INR16,990 or about $240/€210.

The phone has only one memory option - 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, but at least it has microSD slot for up to 256 more gigs of storage. The chipset brings an octa-core CPU to the vivo Y95 with clock speeds up to 1.95 GHz.

The front panel is 6.22” LCD with HD+ resolution and 19:9 ratio. The top notch is simply a waterdrop, housing the 20 MP selfie shooter. The primary camera setup is just 13 MP f/2.2 + 2 MP f/2.4 for depth-sensing.

You can purchase the phone today on Flipkart, Amazon and vivo’s own online store. The price is discounted from INR18,990 and it buys you the phone in one of two colors - Starry Black or Nebula Purple. There are also plenty of deals like cashback coupons by PayTM and carrier plans by Reliance Jio.

Xiaomi = Not very good service, build quality concerns (lots of defects in RN3/RN4) Honor = very bad cameras in comparison to Oppo/Vivo To Vivo's credit, they are still better priced than Samsung, and the cameras are actually good in the price...

You just assume me a girl? Oh, wow. You simply just ommited the fact that I also mentioned the ram and memory option. I also mentioned the camera megapixel and chipset series. Somehow your brain just direct itself to the word 'DESIGN' and start label...

Your basing your price because of the design? You must be a girl to be looking at the design that much and not the real capability of a smartphone.
