vivo Z1 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 712, 32MP selfie cam and 5,000 mAh battery

vivo just finished off its presentation on the brand new Z1 Pro. It’s a device aimed at Gen-Z consumers with a large punch hole display, triple camera setup and beefy 5,000 mAh battery. Visually the device is identical to the vivo Z5x but it does change up the chipset and selfie camera.

Front and center we have a 6.53-inch IPS LCD of FHD+ resolution. It’s the second vivo phone with a punch hole in the screen housing its 32MP F/2.0 selfie cam in the top left corner.

Around the back the Z1 Pro features a triple camera array with a 16MP f/1.78 main snapper, an 8 MP F/2.2 ultra-wide angle unit and a 2 MP F/2.4 depth sensor.

Inside we have the Snapdragon 712 SoC alongside 4 or 6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. vivo is also throwing in its Cooling and Game Turbo modes for a more immersive experience. The Ultra Game mode, in particular, brings improved surround sound and haptic gaming feedback during gaming sessions. There’s also a voice changer function alongside a sound localization training center which will help you improve your skills in titles such as PUBG Mobile.

To help keep you playing longer, the vivo Z1 Pro packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging over microUSB. The Z1 Pro also comes with reverse charging to act as a power bank for other phones and accessories. On the software front, the device runs vivo’s Funtouch 9 on top of Android Pie.

The vivo Z1 Pro will be available in Sonic Black, Sonic Blue and Mirror Black colors starting July 11 on vivo’s site and Flipkart. The base 4/64 GB configuration starts at INR 14,990 ($217) while the top specd, 6/128GB variant will set buyers back INR 17,990 ($261).

Great ph with decent specs & width of 77 mm is appealing, but how come USB C port and Notification Led are missing??

I stopped reading when it said Micro USB

There are handful of Vivo & Oppo phones that I dreadfully needed in the past , this one including. Here in Europe you can't, at least not the good ones, unless you import.
