WORST PHONE EVER!! takes hours to turn on, runs slow, battery life is poor, apps are non-existent, and noone has vodafone 360 so that is pointless! if i could go back to one point in history then it would be to when i bought this phone and shoot myself for ever getting it instead of an iphone.

Do not use this phone. You cannot use it when Vodafone suddenly decide you can't. How big brother can you get?

I got the h1 about three months ago and now realise it was the worst thing i could have don. Yes the hardware is better than any around and the touch screen is the best ive come across, but the fact is nothing works my alarms no longer work, im using 300MB of the 14GB and it runs like im using full capacity. At first it was really hard trying to figure out but its ok when you do, its just i dont expect something i have been paying up to £100 per month for to be so lapsy daysical.
IF U HAVE NE SENSE U WONT GET THE H1!!!!!

Really am unhappy with this phone. The map is an utter waste of time and the googlemap app is pish poor and slow.
Not being able to delete texts is an utter pain along with me not being able how to name photos I take.
Yeah excellent camera and video but for £35 a month I want more for my money. Should have waited for the iphone instead!

I think the h1 is a great phone ive had no problems with it what so ever it looks great and it performs really well, i really like the way it functions and well if you find it hard to use the phone then maybey you should stick to cup and string because i think its brilliant, well done samsung...

Nice design, great screen, pretty colours, completely useless with a Mac, can't transfer iTunes library, three built in ring tones, no customisation, phone repeatedly freezes, email sync is a joke (and with POP3 mail will never fully work), pay for maps, doesn't fully delete SMS messages on first go, no multi-delete SMS options, confusing interface, alarm doesn't work. A bargain at £35pm. Not. Now £350 out of pocket buying a Blackberry Bold 9700 which is everything the H1 should have been. Oh and Vodafone laughingly wanted another £5 a month for Blackberry service when I called to change.

Anonymous, 12 Jan 2010I work for vodafone myself and am software programmer for s... moreHey,
Samsung engineer - could you please go back to school and learn how to code? The system is in shambles and it looks like you lost touch with reality.
The phone has got a really poor interface and basic functionality like email and content synchronization is flawed to the point of being useless. Using the phone is a constant string of problems.
Have you ever heard about the end user experience? It's a misery to use H1 phone and believe me I use mobile phones for last 15 years and am a programmer myself and know Unix systems inside out. Reliability and functionality wise using MS Windows 95 was superior experience than using H1.
You are lucky the hardware is so good (in fact it's better than iphone), otherwise nobody could use the phone.
I am blaming you and your colleagues for coding this phone so badly that you nearly (if not altogether) ruined it.
It would be best if you, your colleagues and project managers changed the job and never touch the keyboard again.
Bye,
J-
