I bought this phone for about £25 when I made the faux-pas of leaving the Moto at home. I absolutely loathe this phone (the only Pay G that the store had) as one needs fingers the size of matchsticks and eyesight like a watchmaker. The phone also pesters me to go on Facebook. This is not the worst feature however. The worst feature is the way that it phones people when you didn't intend to phone them! The only really useful thing in the box was the SIM. This phone could end up on eBay, the charity shop or the bin. I would never give it to a friend as the phone is just trouble, trouble, trouble.
OK I'm a Senior Citizen these days but I still know junk when I see it. Perhaps its time to stock-up on Motorola V3 RAZRs whilst they are still around as the experience with this phone is that "More is less!" (Apologies to Honda who used the phrase "Less is more!" for their motorbikes)
I deplore the way that smartphones are being foisted on everyone these days and I can still remember the Alcatel "Tesco Special Offer" phones that I missed out on. The phones looked just like a clam-shell and there were no pesky buttons on the outside. There was no camera or radio, it was just a basic phone. The price was £5 each and all the stock was exhausted in less than 24 hours. Unlike a smart-phone no one is going to mug you for a five quid phone!
