can you tell me why I cant phone out on me 858 smartphone also I cant turn off my GPS I have put it back to factory setting but does not make any diffrance owen

Everyone, i bought this mobile phone, and i've to say the following for everyone that is going to buy it too
First of all, the operating system
It got android froyo 2.2, but you can't upgrade it to higher except by downloading a special rom
Second The Camera, it's 2MP
actually 2mp satisfies me, but it doesn't satisfy some people, so you decide
Third, the processor, 500+ mhz, that really sucks and you can't play any game without lag and you can't chat, use wifi, use packet data without lag
so that's pretty much all what you need to know if you're going to buy this mobile
Camera : I think is good
OS : 2.2 is laggy and too old
Processor : totally sucks and it's a major reason not to buy the phone

How do I cancel my /E mail account on my Vodafone 858. Its not obvious. Help appreciated.

I've just bought this phone and for the price it is a great phone. R400 for a smart phone is fantastic. It does what it needs to do, yes it is slow, and internal memory is not much, but I did not expect much, Just wanted to be able to use whatsapp or similar with out breakign the bank. My only gripe is that you cannot choose to install apps to the sd card and it came with a 2gb card great. Compare apples with apples people. Don't buy this phone if you expecting the capabilities of a high end smart phone.

2. Go to play store, now click on your phone menu key. (note: : Android smartphone usually had three or four button on the front.one being home button, search, back and menu button) go to setting unchecked the auto update app box. there you go.

Pls can someone tell me how to stop automatic updates on the apps I have installed, it auctomatically updates taking all my data bundle. i have checked everywhere on the net, cant seem to find a solution.

i thought this phone was good for its price, 40 euro for an android phone and it was sturdy and not unbearable to navigate through menus

1- The worst thing about it is that the volume of the voice during call is very low. I can hardly hear what the other person is saying when talking with this phone.
2-Internal memory is low, so you cannot install many apps.
