Watch the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro event live

Peter, 13 April 2020

The launch of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro is upon us and in an exercise in social distancing, everyone will be watching it online. You can join in on the official OnePlus page or watch the YouTube stream below (there are also streams on Twitter and Facebook, take your pick).

The event starts at 15:00 UTC. Note that there will be a separate event for China in a couple of days.

The impatient among you can refer to our what to expect article for more details – the OnePlus flagship duo and the accompanying accessories were subject to numerous leaks, so there are few surprises left.

The phones are expected to go on sale on April 30 after spending a couple of weeks in the pre-order stage (if you can’t wait until the end of the month, there will be pop-up events before that). We will be publishing our thoughts on the new flagships as soon as possible.

Perfect pricing at $900 for OnePlus 8 Pro for US market, exactly as I predicted weeks ago. With so many sale channels available, OnePlus 8 Pro will sell well, probably more than 'well'.
