Sony doesn’t announce too many smartphones these days, but each one brings exciting innovations. So Xperia event days certainly have a special vibe to them and none more so than when the next Xperia 1 is getting announced. We are now about to see the fifth member of the series and learn more about how it improves on its predecessor.

The event starts at 4AM UTC, which is 1PM in Japan, 6AM in Central Europe, 5AM in the UK and midnight in the Eastern part of the US. It will be streamed online and we’ve embeded the video below so you can easily tune in from your home or office.

Alongside the Sony Xperia 1 V we also expect to see the Xperia 10 V. While the new Xperia 10 is unlikely to offer the same cutting edge camera technologies it will certainly be interesting to see the company’s 2023 take on the value for money formula. Sony is never one to blindly follow trends and always does things its own way so it will certainly be an interesting watch.
