Week 25 in review: Oppo Find X is official, our attention turns to Redmi 6 Pro

Ivan, 24 June 2018

Here's to the end of yet another hectic June week that saw big announcements and big leaks. The beginning of June was the Xiaomi Mi 8's time, last week it was the vivo NEX S and A that got their time in the spotlight and this week the Oppo Find X became official with a slide-out camera module, no notch and crazy-high specs like 8GB of RAM and a 6.42-inch AMOLED screen.

The Find X announcement was shared by the Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition - a special edition with Super VOOC charging. If you're willing to pay the unreasonable €1,700 asking price and are lucky enough to find it in stock somewhere, you'll enjoy an exclusive experience.

Our attention now turns to the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, which will become official next week - on June 25.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 went on sale in Russia and France this week and LG made the X5 (2018) official - an entry-level smartphone with a 4,500mAh battery.

The rest of the week saw the usual amount of leaks and rumors. The ZTE nubia Z18 showed its face via its first live photo, a gallery of images shot with the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's dual cameras appeared, we saw what the canceled Samsung "Project V" foldable smartphone would have looked like and the Xiaomi Mi A2 showed up in a retail listing in Switzerland.

See you in a week!
