Week 32 in review: iPhone 7, Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Mi Note 2 rumors

Victor, 14 August, 2016

Being official for a few days now, Samsung's latest phablet wonder - the Galaxy Note7 has a tight grip on the community's attention. With enthusiastic fans waiting impatiently for the double-curved phablet to hit local shelves, we already saw pre-order records broken. And in a new turn of events, the flagship is set to become even more exciting, now that the enthusiast-grade 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage model has been officially confirmed.

In other Samsung-related news, the Galaxy S7 might be the last flat-screen flagship the company puts out, since the edged design seems to be transpiring into more than just a temporary trend.

Over at camp Apple, all eyes are still on the upcoming iPhone 7 lineup. Faced with a sea of conflicting rumors, we are still not entirely confident on some pretty basic points - whether there will be two models once again or a third option will be introduced this year.

In other news, Xiaomi is expected to refresh both its budget and high-end lineups with the Redmi 4 and Mi Note 2, respectively. We are also on the lookout for the mysterious Sony Xperia XR, the LG V20 and more info is constantly surfacing about the new batch of Nexus phones as well.
