Week 50 in review: Redmi K30 5G arrives, Oppo demoes under-screen camera

The end of the year is nigh and we see plenty of companies going into the holiday mood so there's understandably fewer actual announcements happening. Xiaomi decided to go against the trend and introduced the Redmi K30 lineup in China - it includes a 5G phone with Snapdragon 765G chipset and a basic 4G option with Snapdragon 730G SoC.

Companies like Sony and Huawei are already working on their next flagships, as evidenced by Xperia 3's arrival on Geekbench with Qualcomm’s flagship platform Snapdragon 865, while renders of the Huawei P40 suggested a 6.57” screen.

Oppo will introduce the Reno3 lineup later this month and we finally have an official date - it will be unveiled on December 26. There will be at least two phones - Oppo Reno3 and Oppo Reno3 Pro 5G with Snapdragon 765G chip.

Realme is bringing its own true wireless earphones called Buds Air, and in the past seven days we heard the price and learned they will support wireless charging.
