Weekly poll: are you interested in the Samsung Galaxy M35?
The Samsung Galaxy A35 drew little interest and the Galaxy M55 didn’t do much better. How will the new Samsung Galaxy M35 fare?
The Galaxy M35 made its debut in Brazil and has since then expanded to Mexico, though there are no units available on Samsung’s online store just yet. In Brazil, the M35 is currently BRL 2,430 for a 256GB unit. The A35 256GB goes for the same BRL 2,430 and the M55 256GB is a bit pricier at BRL 2,610.
The M35 and A35 are almost the same phone, except that the M-phone has a larger 6,000mAh battery (vs. 5,000mAh) and it loses the IP67 dust and water resistance. Other than that, both use the same 6.6” FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Exynos 1380 chipset, 50+8MP rear camera and 13MP front and 25W wired-only charging.
Samsung Galaxy M35 camera detailsThe Galaxy M55 stands out with a slightly larger 6.7” display and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, plus the 50MP main camera has a larger sensor (1/1.56” vs. 1/1.96”) and the 5,000mAh battery has faster 45W charging (still wired-only, though).
Sticking with Brazilian prices for the comparison, the Redmi Note 13 (5G, 256GB) is BRL 2,300. It has a 6.67” FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, Dimensity 6080 chipset, 108MP main camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. The Redmi has an IP54 rating, plus both a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD slot. The Galaxy has only the latter.
The Realme 12 Pro comes only in 512GB configuration with more RAM to boot (12GB) and that costs BRL 2,700. The phone has even better dust and water resistance rating at IP65 and a more versatile camera setup – 50MP main, 32MP 2x portrait cam and 8MP ultra wide. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is nothing too exciting, but the 5,000mAh battery has fast 67W charging. On the downside, there is neither a headphone jack nor a microSD slot on the Realme.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 • Realme 12 Pro • Samsung Galaxy A35 • Samsung Galaxy M55
Keep in mind that these comparisons might not hold in different regions, e.g. the Galaxy A35 and Redmi Note 13 are much cheaper than the Galaxy M55 in Europe, the Realme 12 Pro is somewhere in between. However, we don’t have euro prices for the M35, so this is what we have to work with.
So, what do you think? Are you interested in getting the Galaxy M35 if/when it launches near you? Would you rather have the A35 or M55 instead? There are no reviews of the M35 yet, but other than battery life and charging speed, there shouldn’t be that much of a difference.

Which A15 is that? Because I've seen reviews from gsmarena and others that show A15 4G performs better than the 5G version of it. Wild.
