Weekly poll results: Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Tecno Camon 30 Premier and Samsung Galaxy Ring are the highlights of MWC 2024
Some of the devices that were introduced during the week of MWC 2024 will go on to be the most influential this year, though others didn’t warrant more than a quick look. Here are the best devices of MWC 2024 according to you.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra dominated the flagship category – it received over half the votes and more than double the votes of the second place phone. It sure is expensive, but so were most of the other entries in this category, and this one promises camera excellence that people are willing to pay for.
The Honor Magic6 Pro is a distant second, but it had its supporters as well. They say it’s a larger upgrade over its predecessor than the Xiaomi was over the 13 Ultra. The vanilla Xiaomi 14 is technically third, but it edged out the limited edition Honor Magic V2 RSR only by a small margin.
The mid-ranger category was hotly contested. The Tecno Camon 30 Premier is shaping up to be a best-seller, its supporters touting the value for money it offers with a powerful chipset, solid camera and quality screen, not to mention the premium build.
However, the age of the mid-range foldable has arrived – the nubia Flip was close behind in second place. Between it and the discounted Moto Edge 40/Razr (2023), the future looks bright for affordable flip foldables. nubia should be proud of the Focus Pro as well, a budget camera phone.
The entry-level segment has a clear winner but more than one phone resonated with voters. The Tecno Camon 30 5G got first by some distance – the cost of a 5G chipset didn’t lead to compromises in the screen and battery. The nubia Music placed second, showing that there is still room in the market for creative designs. The vanilla nubia Focus got a close third.
There have been several smart rings over the years, but they never felt as popular as smartwatches and smart bands. That may be about to change as the Samsung Galaxy Ring smashed the competition in the misc category with more than double the votes of the second place device – OnePlus’ much improved Watch 2.
Many of these phones will be released later this month, a few are already available. They should go on to become highly successful in the market and will influence the next generation of devices – we’re certainly excited to see how the mid-range flips and wacky entry-level phones will develop. And, of course, we’re itching to get our hands on those flagships.

that's what i was saying, it's a joke to put it in a midrange placement. for a flip phone? maybe but there's a 300 dollar one too so this doesn't make more sense and it's crappy for the price to spec sheet.
- you have to suffer

nubia flip isn't that even cheap to begin with. even older and used samsung z flips or motorola razr can be much cheaper than this. imagine getting low midranger cameras with depth sensor at 600 euros😭😭😭

my problem isn't the placement but rather the list, it is definitely not a midranger this is an absolute clowning choice and the fact that some people voted for it speaks for itself...
