White iPhone 4 reportedly headed to stores, set to launch tomorrow

26 April, 2011

Could this be? The white iPhone 4 is on its way to shelves in US stores say rumors and it should be off the shelves and into customers hands as soon as tomorrow. GSM and CDMA versions will launch simultaneously, if what insiders are allegedly claiming is true.

The white whale, uh, the white iPhone 4 we mean showed up a couple of times last week. Vodafone UK reportedly have it as well and Brits will be able to buy the white model starting tomorrow too. Rumor has it the launch date in the Netherlands is 27 April too.

This could indicate some sort of a synchronized launch as the new rumor says that US stores will be receiving shipments of white iPhone 4s shortly and will start selling them tomorrow.

Both AT&T and Verizon models are reportedly being stocked though there’s nothing new on the T-Mobile version from last week.

Launching the white iPhone 4 now is an interesting move – people are holding off from buying a fourth generation because of the impending release of the 5th iPhone. However, the consensus in the rumor mill is that instead of a summer launch, we’ll have to wait until September for the new model, making the white iPhone 4 a stop-gap measure to bolster sales.

Sure, people have been waiting for over an year to get their hands on one of those but the white paint job aside, the white iPhone 4 is no different than the black one. Would you buy it knowing it will soon be obsolete, just for the novelty of having it in white?

Cannot be sure about it till i see it myself. The last iphone 4 in white had a problem with the camera flash (flash light coming on the upper right corner of the screen) when used.
