I sent the same exact message/complaint on the samsung app "members", from my tablet and I was told that it was related to the software update and I should take it to a samsung store but I'm in school and there none near by...till I get home

(Update from India) UI 6.1 update drained the battery a lot. The latest May Security update (3 days back) has fixed the battery drain issue. The phone is performing as it used be, according to me it is good.
If May security update is not released in your country, then better wait for it, before taking the 6.1 update.
If May security update is delivered along with 6.1 update, then you are good to go as well.

I got my samsung A54 September 2023 and by may 18th it just stopped charging, took it to a phone fixing company and they verified that my charging port was all good and it may be a problem associated with the specific brand. Like why? My battery isn't swollen or anything, it also never showed any signs before. It just stopped charging all of a sudden.

I only saw two complaints regarding the fingerprint reader and about 4 regarding the battery. However, I saw a lot of people praising the battery and they are also satisfied with the smoothness.

After reading the comments here, I don't want to update my A54 to One UI 6.1 because everyone is complaining of overheating and battery drain. Its as if Samsung wants to mess up the updates so that people are forced to buy new hardware. What's the use of 4 OS updates if they are so buggy?
