this phone is still solid in 2024, though its cons can be quite infuriating if you aren't into the more technical side of android, tweaking your device, the bloatware are much more annoying when they can't be removed easily otherwise.

Xiaomi 12 is indeed still very good for now than using low-mid end phone

Got this phone like new for $250. I had some problems with random reboots in the beginning, but after installing xiaomi.eu rom its working perfectly. Battery lasts all day, even if I listen to music for several hours and have 120 Hz enabled. Camera is better than my old phone (iPhone 12 mini). Screen is beautiful. I have it synced up to mi band 8 for workouts. I don't play games, but I have noticed it gets a little hot when installing updates.
If you can get this phone for a low price, I would highly recommend it.

But all good, usability is far better experience with HyperOS
