Oh no, if below info from Xiaomi India is correct meaning globally Xiaomi 12 will not get HyperOS update. Only Xiaomi 12 Pro in March 2024 will be getting HyperOS update

                        Just to share my personal experience with Xiaomi phones, I switched from the Poco F3 256/8gb to the Xiaomi 12 256/8gb.

                        While Poco never disappointed me, the Xiaomi 12 is simply amazing - incredibly fast.

                                  My SoT (screen on time) can last up to 8 hours regularly in my daily usage

                                  It's not great but acceptable for such compact phone
