      hello , i am wodnering if its worth it to go for this phone , given the recent update fixed heating issues and all as i am afraid to get it and regret it later on (i would like to play games on this phone without having my fingers cooked to medium doneness tyvm) .

        And the battery life also improved.
        I use data for whole day and do outlook, camera, YouTube, social media.
        Still the battery remains above 50% at day end.
        I'm happy my problem is solved for now but afraid some random software issue may restart heating.

                    I'm a fan especially *theme* with option to mix and match from different theme of icon, wallpaper, screen saver etc according to preference. Not necessarily just one fixated theme

                        I'm the lucky few, my Xiaomi 12 is cool as cucumber without heating or temperature issue in my daily usage since Nov 2022

                            Important is no bugs or sort, to me it's better to have a smooth sailing using MIUI instead of frequent update

                                        It heats up when using basic YouTube and social media.
                                        I don't play games or use intensive video editing apps.
                                        Still my phone heats up like a iron rod.
                                        Good looks, nice haptic and speaker.
                                        But average camera for a flagship.
                                        And worst heat management.
