SD 8+ Gen 1 from TSMC without such temperature issue, in fact with better efficiency in battery management and slightly better performance

Still, quite disappointed by gaming performance though. Not sure if it's only mine one that is unlucky/defect, but it's really almost impossible to play anything that requires at least some graphics performance... FPS dropping below 20 sometimes. Not what I've expected. Can this be a reason to send it to a warranty service btw?

Idk if it's normal, has anybody else experienced the FPS drops during gaming? Mine is quite serious, almost impossible to play anything. I've been expecting a more decent performance from a last year's flagship tbh

Just to be sure not opt for SD888 and SD8 Gen1 (if u can) because both manufactured by Samsung with temperature issue
I'm the lucky few, my Xiaomi 12 bought since Nov 2022 do not have temperature issue

My personal usage experienced temperature issue when video on 100% brightness for 20 minute-ish. That's it. Mostly picture taking, hardly use for video so I'm all good

Xiaomi 12 battery It's not all bad, my daily usage for the past 6 months average 7-8 hours SoT (Screen on Time) with 10-15% battery left by the end of the day.

hello , i am wodnering if its worth it to go for this phone , given the recent update fixed heating issues and all as i am afraid to get it and regret it later on (i would like to play games on this phone without having my fingers cooked to medium doneness tyvm) .
