The normal images come out with superior detail and colors from the Realme 8 Pro, while I would say the Xiaomi 12 retains a more natural look. The realme also beats the Xiaomi in zoom, but that's expected since the Realme 8 Pro has 10x lossless zoom. Although the normal photos are better on the Realme, the Xiaomi beats it in pretty much everything else. Better ultrawide, better dynamic range, better video, much more
features....

I'm using Xiaomi 12 for a year now, and for now it works perfectly. No lags, or any issues, always have the newest updates.. I like the design and the display is awesome too! The battery is a little bit weak, but the 67W charger is pretty fast, so not a big problem. if you play games for a longer time you can feel the phone is a little bit hot, but I didn't had any complications because of it, a couple of minutes and its back to normal temperature..

Camera results somehow is very subjective, you probably already get used to Realme 8 Pro for quite sometime
Xiaomi 12 with superior main camera sensor sony IMX 7 series, After a while using Xiaomi 12 you might adjust to Xiaomi 12 camera result?

Just got this phone it is quite pleasant. It works great, although the camera performance surprised....in a bad way. I compared it with my Realme 8 Pro and I must say that in most cases the 8 Pro takes the win. There are some advantages for the Xiaomi as well, but in normal photos there's quite a difference that I wasn't expecting.

alottaJ, 16 Apr 2023Small phones have the only advantage that they fit good one... moreHmm, that's not 100% correct, as the Xiaomi 13 is a very solid upgrade of the 12 in every aspect. I'll be using my Oppo Find X5 for 1-2 years and then I'm probably gonna switch it with a Xiaomi 13, but who knows..
