Always opt for Snapdragon chipset made by TSMC

Bought it last August and I'm having problems with the battery life and overheating. Gaming is impossible which i don't do anymore.
Came from poco f2 pro that had perfect battery life and literally no heating issues. I played games on that one for many hours and still had plenty of battery and it never got warm.
I don't know if it can be fixed with xiaomi 12 or not

I have this phone for less than a year. I am using it daily for google maps and youtube. After like 8 monts the phone is overheating, i am not able to hold it on my hand anymore.Also i am charging it 2-3 times per day. I went for service but they didnt find any problem.
Already looking for a new phone...

I saw a similar comment and though to second that. I am using xioami 12 for over 1.5 years but battery started to show its age after an year or so. I have to charge my phone 2 times a day. I am not a heavy user of the phone though. I don't know why but my expectations from battery were better than this. In settings, battery health is shown normal. But in realtime usage, I can see noticeable difference in its health.
