More accurately *warm* instead of hot but only under intense usage specifically hardcore, high definition games.
Otherwise it's cool and normal temperature so no biggie

Been using it for some months, it's comfy and looks elegant. Gaming is okay, but don't overdo it.
Cameras both are nice, despite lower rank than 12T in dxomark (idk i just feel this one is better).
Last, try buying a new custom case because the original glass-looking case is kinda slippery. Got a heart attack once when it slipped out of my hand when taking scenery pic (my spidey leg somehow able to catch it).
If you're into heavy gaming, definitely take the 12T (if you need similar camera with OIS) or Poco F4 (worse camera), but then again, maybe wait for 13 series since everyone said 12 series is kinda meh.
Note : actually you can take 11 lite if it's available since it got better battery life. But keep this in mind that they had a custom to stop production of previous phone when new one emerges (they're focusing spareparts for services, rather than making the phones).

GSMArena already reviewed MIUI 13, it's great and buttery smooth to use
If you prefer Huawei then changed your next phone to Huawei but not necessarily comment biasly on Xiaomi

Don't upgrade to Android 13 if you can ! Since I did it I'm really disappointed by the phone. No more Bluetooth working smoothly, too frequent disconnections from Wi-Fi and even mobile !
All useless from outside China applications have come back and some of them don't want to be kicked out anymore.
Too many bugs especially between the gallery app and the applications, the launcher is freezing too frequently and when the phone is in standby, I need to power it on again to have it access with the fingerprint reader where previously it works without the need to turn it out of standby by power key.
It's really a shame, Xiaomi is less competent than Huawei in many points, China really need to discuss with them because it will impact negatively their image accross the world and I think it will really be interesting by GsmArena to review the phone under Android 13.
I've never been so disappointed by a phone like this one! I'm glad that my carrier could offer me a good offer to roll back to another brand.
