      pufanu, 28 Dec 2021Why would they add bands for a country where they're n... moresimply because the antennas, the soc all are there that support it...just because for simple reason that a device is not sold in a particular country does not necessarily mean it won't be used in that particular country (anyone traveling from overseas to U.S for example would not be able to tap into the 5g network as scattered and poorly built it is (agree). Then there are plenty of import them through unofficial channels but then no one cares a hoot about them. Anyway, it is about interoperability and these bands are shut out by software.

          I it would be better, if Xiaomi 12 was smaller copy of Xiaomi 12pro, but with 6.28" screen. I would pay same money as for 12pro. I hate very big displays.

                                Now you choose. iPhone 13 Mini vs Xiaomi 12. Pricing should be similar (if global launch happen). People want a Mini phone??? Then go get the real Mini.

                                  The more important thing is IMX766 can't save Xiaomi's ass, you have to trust me, their processing is garbage, things appeared so washed out, people laughed at the photo taken with my Mi 10, cuz the color so not accurate, even worse than the Redmi Note 9 Pro. And more importantly, don't stick around for Xiaomi cuz they are not who they meant to be. They want to be the next SAMSUNG, overpriced phones. It's so funny how Xiaomi flagship got so close to iPhone's Pricing (I'm talking about flagship to flagship). They are doing vs iPhone marketing right now cus the price is so high. As if they actually beat iPhone is Photos and videos and Processing and Battery (usage / not capacity) and things like that. Xiaomi so going off-road!!!
