Xiaomi 12 Lite gets listed in Europe for €500
The Xiaomi 12 Lite smartphone is not even official yet, but some stores are ready to sell you one. A launch should be around the corner because at least two European retailers are now offering the phone - the Romanian online store Evomag and the Spanish carrier Orange.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite is priced at €500 and the specs confirm previous rumors about a Snapdragon 778G chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery.
The Romanian and Spanish specs sheets are completely different - the Eastern European retailer is reusing the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE specs, down to the cameras and battery capacity. However, the one in the Southern European country looks a lot more plausible, including actual renders that confirm the flat frame design.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite is going to arrive with a 6.55” AMOLED screen and Qualcomm chipset. Changes include the slightly bigger battery and a lot faster charging - 67W. The main camera is going to have a 108 MP sensor, coupled with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP macro snappers. The selfie shooter has a 32MP sensor.
We'll update you when we hear an official word from Xiaomi about its upcoming smartphones.
