My Xiaomi 12S Pro died on me after two months of usage. Reason unknown. Never used it intensively, never dropped it. That was obviously my last Xiaomi. Disappointed and now I'm waiting for my money to be refunded. I hope that I'll get my money back at least.

Iphone 15 is still using USB 2.0. As long as Apple doesn't progress Android won't find the urgency to do so.

The phone is super fast, I get 7 hours of SoT (25h total with standby), even on mobile data. This is amazing, considering it has got a very powerful SoC. The cameras are great too. I don't use the 120W charging all the time tho.

Great phone, using it since one week, no overheating, great battery life, fast charging speed, now waiting till tomorrow to unlock the bootloader for installing Xiaomi.EU ROM.

I have this phone and I am very pleased/happy with it. Highly recommended. I had a global ROM and I had some iisues with it. Imstalled a chinese ROM and it turned out to be much better - OTA updates, less heating up, 3d mark tests are working unlike on Global ROM. If I had known I would have ordered with chinese rom straight away.

Why does Xiaomi skimp out on the USB?
2.0 offers no video output and much slower transfer speeds.
The price difference to implement 2.0 and 3.0 on a smartphone is around $10 per unit says ChatGPT.
Can someone make a GoFundMe so Xiaomi can afford USB 3.0? :(
