The price is close to Flagship phone Xiaomi 12 or Google Pixel 6 pro/7pro. I go for the flagship phone!

Is this phone intended to for Asian market only?
I am in the market looking for a good travel phone but it seems this one got very less bands supported than other flagships. Will there be a version with a better band supports?

The display on the S22 Ultra has like 1750 nits peak brightness while this phone has 900. This phone is good but I would not want to pay this much for a phone that'd take half a year to update to the next android. Chinese companies really like to make you feel like your phone's getting obsolete

I tried the phone and was amazed at the quality of screen and cameras, especially for selfies. The best i have ever seen in a phone...being a Samsung fan i must say the 12TPro is way over any Samsung phone. But reliability and updates i don't know.

Just got the 256gb 8gb ram version as that's all we have in the UK . Previous phone a OnePlus 8 12gb ram.
The 12Tpro seems to be fine on just 8gb ram. Software not as bloated as I was expecting. You can actually see some difference in speed when gaming.. playing battle royale in codm is just as good as the multiplayer is now..with the OP8 sometimes you'd get a few frame drops in BR which can make all the difference when your facing good players. Battery seems to be ok ..not as good as the OP8 but excellent when compared to other 8gen1/8gen1+ devices. If you can't get a gaming phone then this is probably the best alternative at present. The camera is fine although I've hardly used it so far .
The screen setup is underwelming and looks washed out when compared to my OP8 Samsung display until you adjust it in advanced settings, I wouldn't say it's any worse than my op8, it just needs some better colour presets but it's fixed by manually adjusting.
Speakers are great just like OP8 .
It's quite a bulky phone but so are most phones these days. If you need a new phone now get one. If you're undecided then wait for Snapdragon 8 gen2 devices because they are coming with storage version 4.0 which has 50% faster read and write times and is also supposed to be 40% more efficient.
I'm keeping my OP8 as a daily driver because it ain't dead far from it. It's so easy to use one handed too ..for now the Xiaomi is my gaming device. Got the Xiaomi buds 3 pro with it too for free..loudness is good enough and sound quality excellent.

James, 19 Nov 2022I feel like the body materials of 12t pro is different with... more12tpro has plastic frame but has a glass back although unnamed. The T models are supposed to be a bit cheaper. Screen Resolution is between 1080p and 1440 at 1220 resolution...1080p would have been just fine. It hasn't got the ltpo tech either but considering the battery life which is exceptionally good considering Xiaomi past record it doesn't need it..you still get 120hz variable down to 30hz. It's still Dolby vision supported and is a still a very good panel.

I feel like the body materials of 12t pro is different with the regular xiaomi 12 pro,can someone confirm this?the 12t pro looks cheaper in the hand,i dont know or its just me.?the screen is better also on regular 12 pro.

melanco, 19 Nov 2022Should someone consider buying this one or Samsung S21 FE?S21FE is already a year old. Battery sitting on shelf for this long wont perform as good as a brand new one. And s21fe has very mediocre battery performance.
If you prioritize main sensor, fast charging(30min max) and performance above all else, I suggest you go for it.
i woke up with 62% battery life today. put it on charge before heading to shower and got back to 100% charged device. White light to moderate(some camera shots, social media and net browsing) use i only got down to 76%. Getting 7hours + SOT on this device.
Main Camera has one of the best zoom capabilities. At 2x center crop you get 12.5mp 1.28µm image. camera is blazing fast when it comes to taking picture. Even at 50mp or 200mp.
