A good macro camera is fun, 5MP ones are passable, I think the GT2 Pro also has a decent one (or it's some other phone), but still, it would be better instead of wasting money on useless 2MP ones to give AF to UW lens and give it macro more.

Super Android 22, 09 Oct 2022Dunno what you were doing with your P40 pro to get "fa... morei posted the link, on the very bottom of that google photos folder, there are pictures from P40pro that are very off with colors, and by fake colors - i mean that what i see has different colors than what i see on the pictures. Night time pics show that extremely well - P40pro pics do show mostly more details in night time pics - if the object is illuminated.
You can check the camera sensor specs to see why it produces fake colors, bcoz the sensor Sony IMX700 has RYYB configuration, not RGB, it does not have the part that captures green light, it does help in taking pics in low light, but at the cost of fake colors.
Even DXOMARK has comparison on the P40pro page, when you can clearly see the difference in colors, except they compared it to iphone and xiaomi, and all 3 phones showed different colors.
This means 2 of the phones showed wrong colors :)
Yes S20Ultra did deliver horrible image/video quality, i mentioned it by saying it's the software, most of that got fixed after 6~8month, then it was almost on pair with my 2019 Xiaomi MiNote10.
But optical zoom was from first comparison on always better on S20Ultra.
I was devastated, that neither P40pro nor S20Ultra could beat my old Xiaomi phone, of course the other phones were faster and took better videos, but they took worse pictures.
There was slight improvement in S21Ultra, but not good enough for me to keep the phone for longer than 1month, not worth it at all.

Got 2 mates (brother and sister) who had the S20 ultras, yeah they weren't close to being on par with the P40 pro, worse colour reproduction, worse optical zoom quality, worse video recording/worse slo mo recording, and just worse photo quality (they were surprised by my P40 pro).
My current partner has an iPhone 13 and she would use my P40 pro to take the best quality pictures if needed for work (hairdresser so needed colour accurate detailed pictures) and she's an iPhone only person. Also my mates who are iPhone only users were astonished by its night quality and the zoomed pictures of a clock tower at 11pm at night on a field.

LOL, 08 Oct 2022stop spreading lies the. p40 pro outmatches the 11t pro and... moreso if i have 11tpro, P40pro and had S20Ultra, as well S21Ultra but for just one month, since it was not good enough....so even if i compared pictures from all of the phones, it doesn't matter bcoz you know better while owning which ones of the phones?
I am talking here about the main camera, P40pro produces fake colors, only the wide mode which does not use main camera offers true colors.
S20Ultra as well S21Ultra are terrible bcoz of software updates, the 100x Zoom which is useless if you go beyond 50x beats easily P410pro
But the best picture quality at 108MP comes from Xiaomi phones, in fact MiNote10 sometimes surpasses 11trpo, but since that happens rather randomly, then that means 11tpro is more consistent.

If Xiaomi makes 10 "flagships" per year would it be that hard to include a microsd slot and side mounted fingerprint reader on one of them because at this point they're just making the same phone 10 times. The side fingerprint reader on 10T pro is much easier to use than in screen ones and this is while being worse than the one on the X3 NFC with which with its slight indent for the power button is as close to the perfect unlocking experience as any phone ever got to.

I have try it at the store when you using the 5x zoom still lose to the quality of huawei p30 pro and oppo Reno 10x zoom. Google very funny still can selling at this kind of high price. compare to iPhone 14 pro max, using iPhone 14pro.max to zoom 5x the photo quality is a lot better.

If you want to compare camera quality.. this phone cannot zoom more than 2x. as when you zoom in the photo on the phone you will see the picture look like water painting. using Ultra HD 200Mp after zoom in still water painting picture. I have try other brand like oppo find x5 pro and Samsung S22 ultra totally the picture quality alot better. I think the price is expensive on the CPU processor and the 200mp sensor other than that this phone is make of plastic back and screen still on amoled screen instead of LTPO.

I doubt you have/had the11tpro at all.
But in a way it's true, the difference between 108 and 200 is some 30%, on day light pics 200MP will have more details, with low light i doubt there will be any difference between the cameras.
