This phone is a piece of plastic. Doesn't have any metal, even the frame is plastic and not aluminum. Cheap plastic. That's the main reason why we didn't buy this phone in the first place.

Performance: better on 12t pro because of his big vapor chamber less heating more sustainable performance than edge 30 ultra
Camera: better optimized and superior sensor on 12t pro no issues with 200mx mod moto edge 30 ultra has delay problem with his inferior 200mx sensor.
Software: 12 t pro had several update and security patch since it's launch and has android 13 since ferbruary 2023 I'm not sure if moto edge 30 ultra had several update from the launch.
Display : 12t pro has 1.5k flat screen with 480 touch sampling rate better for gaming and reading than moto edge 30 ultra full hd curved screen 360 touch s

If anyone has trouble updating to miui 14 i changed my region restarted the device and got the update.Changed it to USA i'm from EU.

Just manually updated to 14.0.8. 0(TLFEUXM) seeing as i was waiting forever for ota update. Will give my opinion on it in a day or two.

I only have one problem :( ..via Bluetooth with a Bluetooth headset, during calls,the other persons can't hear me anymore but I can hear them...I don't know if it's a Bluetooth issue.. running on miui 13 and I'm from Europe too

Hi everyone, here is my opinion about the xiaomi 12t pro 8/256gb black after 6 month of daily usage:
Build quality: Good only weakness is the good plastic frame instead of premium metal probably to reduce the final cost.
Screen: Amazing 1.5k 120hz hdr10+ sharp screen especially for reading ebooks or web browsing or watching videos or playing games. High max brightness 922cd/m2 screen with a touch delay of 55ms excellent for playing fps games for example samsung s23 ultra has 53ms touch delay which cost twice the price.
Performance : Top snapdragon 8 gen 1+ no big difference with the 8 gen 2 only graphic and memory speed. I reached 1 121 112 on antutu a very high score not far from the 8 gen 2. all games on play store running smoothly : genshin impact max setting stable 59-60fps for 30-60 min, call of duty mobile max setting stable 60fps for min 1hour, pubg mobile max setting stable 60fps for 1 hour... The phone remain almost cool with big vapor chamber inside after long playing games max temp 40° after 1 hour of playing games depending if high graphics games or not and outside temp.
Camera: Take very good pics in day light 16 mp 50 mp and 200 mp photos in low light conditions not to bad with ois and good video quality 720p 1080p 60fps 4k 60fps 8k 30 fps. It reach 129 on camera score on dxomark for example samsung s23 ultra reach 140 score and iphone 14 pro max 146 camera score you will see especially the difference in low light conditions compared to 12t pro.
Software: Running on the miui 14.0.8 EU February security patches version very smooth no lag no bloatware better than miui 13 I had several updates since the launch of the phone. If you haven't received miui 14 ota on your phone you have to update manually by recovery or fastboot.
Battery : Very good battery life especially after miui 14 update 2 day average battery life for normal usage.

Update support is disgusting. My previous phone oneplus 8 has android 13 available for months and its over 2 years old almost 3..xiaomi cant even update a 4 month old phone. If you value security avoid xiaomi.. Wish i could replace this now but resale value falls through the roof. Do not buy xiaomi you have been warned.
