Toza, 12 Dec 2022Lol what did you expect? That big companies are just gonna ... moreI think it's not about the money dude.. I think that's just a preference according to some specific needs and habbits. For example most people will say how they have a cloud but what if you don't have an internet connection at the moment, what if you want to swap your 512MB SD card into another device qiuckly, that can be any device not just smartphone. And for the 3.5mm jack... Dude.. you have your preffered choice on every damn phone so why do you care for other peoples preferences? You have your fricking Bluetooth connection which is according to users like you is far better and more practical then the old school ones with 3.5mm jacks. I can use them both, but for me personally 3.5mm are still the better ones as you don't have to care for their battery and adapter and what if you loose one bud? That's not practical for me.
And also I don't understand why do you guys have an urge to put down every guy who doesn't want only BT for their headphones or physical SD memory card. How offering a choice for both is impacting your life? Huh? Yeah, I thought so. Those users and their preferences have zero impact on your life, but you're saying it anyway. Why?

Oh why they made it closer to the iPhone design!? I liked camera area in 12, frankly it was the best camera bump design in 2022. Pity

Xiaomi had too many things right in this device, flat display (respect!), the screen, the size, and the design.
Wish they paid more attention to their selfie cam like other flagships, e.g Samsung S22 or iPhone 14, as they seem to overlook such improvement in the last 3 years.
Also, a 120 charger on the standard version wouldn't have hurted, they did it on midrangers in 2022, like the note 11 pro max.

Some might questioned why only USB2? Act. I've forgot when was the last time I transfered files using USB. These days, I always use WiFi to my local NAS. I dont care abt USB, I care abt WiFi 6e, IR blaster. Wish Huawei can be like this with their Kirin, but they are stucked with Snapdragon with 4G. Loved their phones. Still using my Mate 20 Pro, bought from new.

Good with Leica as your camera for clear and sharp photos.

Anonymous, 10 Dec 2022NoAs somebody who has been using gestures on both flat and curved screens, yeah they work better on curved screens.

There are other reason why flat screens can be better, but gensures isn't one of them.

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2022Very disappointed, cancelled again, I won't buy junk ... moreDon't get me wrong, those things should still be present on flagships, but companies won't budge because while us enthusiasts demanding those features, average consumer doesn't, and that only really leaves you with Sony.

andibad, 12 Dec 2022First, wireless earphone are lagging around 1 seconds, what... moreWhile I wholeheartedly agree that headphone jacks and sdcard slots should be present on all phones, I want to point out that wireless headphones don't lag whole second, it's more about 1/4 to 1/2 of a second, lag only being noticeable when paying exact attention to people speaking or playing games, at least my Redmi Buds 3 Pro do.

Toza, 12 Dec 2022Lol what did you expect? That big companies are just gonna ... moreFirst, wireless earphone are lagging around 1 seconds, whatever version bt you using, specially on high audio resolution, Is practically bad for streaming and professional usage. That reason wired cable still needed to avoid unnecessary wireless problem.

Second, again clueless statement about microsd, microsd is still essentiall and needed as backup and extra storage on quick term. Cloud storage is need stable connections and subscription, not everyone willingly bought when is rarely being used. When subscribtion is expired, the vendor can anytime make your file as hostage. The reason they remove microsd is purely thet wanted you subscribe their cloud storage which no one want to bought because is pointless.

Huge internal doesnt mean you didnt need extra storage like microsd. Oh boy. Google intentionally tune down microsd speed since 2015. And today google being pushy to used their stuff, example : recently they remove jpeg xl, just favor their stuff webp and AV1 which is terrible.

Lol what did you expect? That big companies are just gonna equip their top of the line flagships with a headphone jack and an sd card reader in 2022? It isn't your 2015 anymore and it is NEVER gonna be again, deal with it. If you have the money to grab a $1000+ phone, you have the money to buy a pair of $200 TWS Earbuds too, and I doubt you don't have the money to buy more storage on Google Drive or Onedrive or whatever cloud storage service there is. Just pay up a bit more to get more storage, I mean like what the hell in the world would you need an SD card when you have 256GB (or more (512 GB, 1 TB)) of storage? What are you gonna be storing there, a billion dollars? Please, come on. My GT Master has 128GB of storage and I do not need anything more than that, my previous Redmi Note 9S had 64GB of storage and I had never ran out of it, nor have I used an SD card in my life. And as for the headphone jack, I haven't used wired headphones for almost 2 years now, as I'm using a pair of $30 Earbuds and I'm PERFECTLY HAPPY WITH IT.

Super Android 22, 11 Dec 2022Flagships don't need them if you can have minimum 256g... moreEven though imb*ciles like you were easily fooled into accepting lesser features for more price, smartphone makers realized that budget buyers aren't so easily fooled. So we still have some great $300 phones with headphone jack and SD card. I literally abandoned buying a flagship and went midrange for these features. It also helped me realize that mid-range is 90% as good as a flagship, and helped me save money. But keep coping and deluding yourself that only $50 eMMC phones have headphone jack. lol
