For large files the difference will be great but how often do you plan transfer large files???
Once a month, 3 months or once a year???
For that case USB 2.0 is great enough.
And for anything else you can use fast wifi if you own one.

I need On-the-go because I plug the phone in for internet access (have no Wi-Fi at home -- don't like digital radiation). Once plugged in via USB I also get flash drive access. Xiaomi does it right by me.

Only 2 questions to any chinese flagship: video quality still much worse then ipnone?? Price and market availability for 512gb version??
