To justify a statement like yours you would have to have used all the other android OS's

imo the hardware is definitely top notch for the price, but the software is not very polished
get a custom rom and this will be perfect.

I upgraded just under a year ago so I’m optimistic that in a few years these minor annoyances will be ironed out. I’m not expecting it to be perfect, just better than what I’ve been reading.
Wish I had been a bit more patient when I upgraded. I thought going for a pro model would be a huge difference, but I don’t even use half the added stuff. Just want a phone with 5G, 120hz, quality camera and not a huge brick

PG1997, 19 Jul 2023Have an iPhone 13 Pro but recently been looking at Xiaomi p... moreI would say MIUI is definitely in a ''working standard'' there are just some minor annoyances here and there that either dont matter or you learn to ignore, RAM management is the biggest issue but due to the speed of the phone I can't really say I'm bothered much by it.

Xioami 1... moreReally depends on what is important for you, S23 ultra has a superior camera setup all-around, a stylus and better resale value wheras the Xiaomi 13 has faster charging all-around, other than that there is the size and price difference to consider.

Have an iPhone 13 Pro but recently been looking at Xiaomi phones and I kinda like the whole vibe. Phones are not too big, great specs and design is out there in a good way. However, the Miui seems to be a bit hit-and-miss and not yet accomplished, but I'm hoping that when I upgrade and I have my heart set on a Xiaomi that they will have updated it to a working standard.
I think this will be the only way I return to an Android phone. Not keen on Samsung at all, and every other brand just doesn't excite me as much as Xiaomi’s future. Definitely going to keep my eyes peeled when they release their phones in future to see if the direction their going is still exciting me as it does now

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2023Samsung s22 is better.samsung s22 and s23 have good cameras, they take pictures of the moon but when you take a picture at 50 meters they are worse than a xiaomi mi 9t, I speak from experience
