It's an additional feature and sound quality is better too. So why not to expect expensive devices to have more features? Why is it so important to you to have less features on an expensive phone? Next step take off Wifi module because anyone can use G5?

No ss card, no 3.5 audio jack. How you expect Xiaomi to overcome Samsung ? Diversity is the key. Also offering more possibilities than your opponent. Adding these ports worth almost nothing, but adds many customers that are seeking the above features and a compact yet powerful phone. Xiaomi you can not beat samsung on Software. They are far ahead from you. Beat them on Hardware

Elsewhere some folks are wondering whether it is Android 14 or the MIUI version that is the culprit (think it worked on Android 13 but then some previous version of MIUI). The complaint about AA wireless was regarding the screen staying on during and after disconnecting (requiring a reboot). But apparently AA works (wireless and maybe wired too) otherwise?

It's a tad cheaper than you might be expecting but I suppose that's a good thing.
Apart from that I don't see anything really fitting your wants at your pricepoint.

In terms of the Poco F5, you can also get the f5 pro in that price range but I wouldnt really recommend either, still before deciding i'd wanna know what exactly you're looking for.
