I'm convinced that Xiaomi pretty much killed off the Lite versions of their number series phones

Also I curious will this thing get hyperos 2.0 it's not listed just says (Xiaomi 13 series) but the Xiaomi Civi 2 gets it just curious if this won't get updated I will literally but it under hydraulic press.

The flash appears to not have two temperatures but single the darker part underneath the actual flash led is some kind of light sensor like color spectrum sensor. I actually have couple of complaints about this phone but I really like it's design so I will bash this phone with cons sometime later.

I am a proud owner of Xiaomi 13 Lite. This budget phone caught my attention after hearing praise for Xiaomi as the best company ever with the best phones. However, I soon realized that these comments were unfounded. Let's leave aside the cheap words for now since this is a comment section, isn't it?

                                Here are my complaints:

                                1. The camera of the Xiaomi 13 lite is not listed on an accurate site that is available on the internet.
                                2. The price of 550 euros for a mid-range phone is not cheap. For the same price, I could have purchased another brand with many years of software support.
                                3. Xiaomi started the Android version with last year's version, which is not acceptable for a new phone. The Xiaomi 13 Lite started with Android 12 in 2022 and is expected to have only two major Android updates, not three. This is unacceptable.
                                4. The updates for the Lite version are not frequent, and Xiaomi hides them. There are no real updates.
                                5. The design and basic elements of the phone are outdated. The screen of the Mi 13 Lite has Gorilla 5, which is outdated compared to the victus screen of Mi 11 Lite. The Mi 13 Lite has only one mono speaker, while the Mi 11 Lite and Mi 12 Lite have dual stereo speakers. The hardware of the Mi 12 Lite and Mi 13 Lite are the same as last year's model. The camera of the Mi 11 Lite had better pixel-wise pickups compared to the Mi 12 Lite and Mi 13 Lite. The macro feature of the Mi 12 Lite and Mi 13 Lite is not as good as that of the Mi 11 Lite, with only two macro features instead of five. The camera recording stabilizing feature is absent.

In conclusion, there is nothing new about this phone. It is the same phone repeatedly rehashed. Xiaomi needs to make something new and innovative. I regret buying this phone.

Xiaomi in USA, 23 Sep 2023Xiaomi became my only option after Samsung began disabling ... more The European Union has passed a new regulation that will require all smartphones, tablets, and other portable devices sold in the EU to have removable batteries by 2027. The regulation is designed to reduce electronic waste and make it easier for consumers to repair their devices.

The regulation defines a removable battery as one that can be removed by the end-user with commonly available tools, without requiring the use of specialized tools, proprietary tools, thermal energy, or solvents. This means that consumers will no longer need to take their devices to a professional to have the battery replaced.

The regulation is a major victory for the right-to-repair movement, which has been campaigning for years for manufacturers to make their devices more repairable. It is also a significant step towards reducing electronic waste. According to the EU, batteries account for up to 50% of the hazardous waste generated by small electronic devices.

The regulation is expected to have a global impact, as many manufacturers sell their devices in both the EU and other markets. It is also likely to lead to more innovation in the design of batteries and devices, as manufacturers look for ways to make batteries more easily replaceable without sacrificing performance or durability.

The regulation is expected to come into force in 2027, but some manufacturers may start selling devices with removable batteries earlier.

Xiaomi really screwed up with this phone. No stereo speakers??
