Here in my region, tons and tons of Poco users including F5/F5 Pro are selling their phones after a few days of use which explains why we should avoid those Pocos. Their cameras are worse than the 13T series because they are using a 3-year old OV64B sensor which is not only dated but also a mediocre performer.

alisn, 06 Nov 2023did the cameras get any better when shooting people or objects I don't really use the 13T for taking photos to be honest because that is the duty of my S23 Ultra. I am primarily using it for light gaming and Waze only.

Poco F5, however, is a rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo. No issues are seen in Redmi Note 12 Turbo phones so far so probably the F5 is safe.

Poco's tend to die after a few years because they are the budget line of Xiaomi with budget components. I have seen fried Poco boards, charging pins, display quality issues so I would recommend to avoid the Poco lineup altogether.

F5 is cheaper (obviously)
But the 13t has better display, 144hz compared to 120 in poco,and camera but I barely use them a month anyway.
I play games alot.
E.G Roblox, SimplePlanes etc

battery duration drop significantly after using for 1 month. When do moderate activity like browsing news, open ig or tiktok, taking video and photos, my phone only last for 6 - 7 hours. If using intense activity like gaming it only last for 2- 3 hours. I can charge a day 3 - 4 times a day, horrible battery, pretty disappointed. But for phone peformance and camera, its very good

Most MTK phones get custom ROM support as long as many people got the phone and there are a number of developers took interest. My poco m4 pro 5G that uses MTK and got active custom ROM support as well as the other mediatek phones like the Redmi 9

The back is super shiny so it shows finger prints, but the included plastic case solves that problem. I'm happy with it. It's very fast and takes beautiful pictures.

Awesome phone. But mediatek. Not saying it is bad, it's just, no custom OS for it in the future when this phone's OS lifetime ended by Xiaomi.

Just bought it recently and nothing to complain all is perfect especially the cameras, love it.

There really has to be an update to correct the lack of consistency of colors using the main and telephoto lenses. It's like the shots are smudged especially if the subject is either a person or an object and it has something also to do with focusing issues. It's not the same thing as far as landscape shots are concerned.
