They were 2 things away from a masterpiece.
Gen 2 of SD8
And for some reason still no OTG 3 despite supporting UFS 4.
Ill never understand these decisions.

You can check the benchmarks and see for yourself. Any performance difference between the two is practically unnoticeable.

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2023Wireless charging is still convenient at certain times. A p... moreTo be honest, i can't think of a scenario i would be on where wireless charging would be particularly convenient.
If at home, there's hardly any difference between me grabbing a charging cable and placing my phone on a wireless charger. They both have to plug into the wall anyway and both would be left plugged in for maximum convenience anyway.
If in the car, wireless charging is only convenient if you have a car that supports android auto. Otherwise, or if you have a magsafe setup, its the same thing as running a cable to your device.
If anything, the second or two of inconvenience i get from plugging in my phone is easily outweighed by the convenience of 120 W charging. Not only that, but for wireless, as soon as you pick up your phone to use it, it's no longer charging. I honestly don't see wireless charging as much more than a gimmick just to say they have it. For practicality, wired is still the way to go.

Checking some early reviews and most mentioned con is selfie camera quality. I'd add super slow USB 2.0 interface. But all other categories (important to me) looks fine - IP68, main (back) cameras, power, display, charging speed,... Right now there is relatively big price gap between 13T Pro and 13 Pro (some 250 EUR) making 13T Pro my preffered choice.

Villa87, 27 Sep 2023Not having Wireless charging is a JOKE Spot on. A phone worth this much in 2023 should offer wireless charging. Sure you may plug in most of the time, but wireless charging is handy in many situations.
Cost cutting by Xiaomi, and a massive let down when it was initially thought to be offered. I'll pass on this phone when rivals offer more.

Villa87, 27 Sep 2023Not having Wireless charging is a JOKE Any smart man would choose having 120w wired charging speed and no wireless instead of 20w wired and 15 wireless charging capability.
Wireless charging damage more the battery opposite of a super fast wired charging.

But the dimensity 9200+ beats the SG 8 Gen 2 in all benchmarks. So the 13T Pro has flagship perfomance

DroidBoye, 27 Sep 2023I've checked-out this phone and the price is really go... moreYeah xiaomi seems way more generous than the other brands when it comes to this. In china, you can just walk in and ask what they will throw in for free if you buy the phone. Your negotiation skills will determine how much you end up getting, but they will always offer you something.
The phone market in asia is just so much more competitive compared to the west. It's probably why the prices for global version in usd and euros is so high. They know their phone is still worth it at these prices relative to their western competitors and the are just looking to maximize margins.

Geek 747, 26 Sep 2023But unlike pixel 8 in Xiaomi 13T pro isn't worth to pa... moreWhat on earth are you saying. This phone has practically all the makings of a high end phone. The processor has been shown to be similar to the snapdragon 8 gen 2 in performance, the camera is good, memory and storage is same as other high end phones. The only things that you could say are missing is usb 3.0, and wireless charging, both of which, imo, are not a big deal.
When was the last time bought a phone that can use a 120 W charger? Unless you have been buying chinese brand phones recently, i doubt you have one just lying around. So i guess that free charger does have some value after all, huh. Sure maybe you could use some years-old charger for your pixel that only does 15 W max, but if i have 120 W charging, i'm definitely using that instead.
You're touting the new pixel as some insanely good device when it's not even out yet. The best thing we have are leaks, and from what i see, the tensor g3 is scoring lower than even the snapdragon 8+ gen 1...
And this isn't even xiaomi's flagship... Their flagship is the 13 ultra. The way i see it, xiaoami's non-flaship already has google's flagship beat.
